Rob Katz earned a BA in Political Science from Brooklyn College, a JD from Antioch School of Law, a MFA from Columbia University in Directing and Writing and has attended Columbia University's Center for Oral History Summer Institute. He has created documentaries and oral histories of wheelchair athletes for Avis, small farm families for Catholic Charities, women solders returning from Iraq for Glamour, students of Eleanor Roosevelt for Hunter College, along with media work for archives, foundations, museums, non-profits, unions and families. Rob's film work has screened on PBS, HBO, AMC, Showtime and network television. He is currently at work documenting the breast and ovarian cancer journeys of Jewish women.
